One of the top events in the yachting industry, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) will be back for its 59th edition in October with another spectacular showcase of superyachts.
Running from 31 October to 4 November in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, FLIBS 2018 will present more than 1,200 boats and a thousand plus exhibitors across an impressive seven show locations.
With such stats, the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show is the largest in-water boat show in the world and attracts a global audience of around 100,000 boating enthusiasts who all share a common interest in life on the water.
From runabouts, sport-fishers and center consoles to tenders, sailing yachts and motor yachts, the range of boats on display will be huge and, as always, there will be an outstanding selection of luxury charter yachts.
Alongside the boats and industry exhibitions, there will be a series of boat handling seminars, fishing clinics and water sports demonstrations for guests to swot up on their skills.
The Windward VIP Club Experience and floating cocktail lounges, meanwhile, will provide perfect settings to network, do business and relax. The social scene is buzzing, with live music keeping the crowds entertained.
Attendees will also benefit from a new dedicated show entrance located along Seabreeze Boulevard towards the north end of the Bahia Mar Hotel and Marina Property. With a plaza-like configuration and exclusive gates for VIPs and exhibitors, it will improve access to all those in attendance.
Connected by a convenient land and water transportation network, the seven show locations include the Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel & Yachting Center, Hall of Fame Marina, Las Olas Municipal Marina, Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina, Sails Marina, Pier 66 Marina and the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center.
